Day 2 - Tuesday - Much better than the first day...until about 4 p.m.
Please do not let this keep you from trying the 3 Day Refresh! Everyone has a different body and a different belly. I am ALWAYS had a sensitive stomach so honestly, my tummy issues last night did not surprise me.

Day 1 - Monday I decided to try the Beachbody 3 Day Refresh to curb some bad eating habits. I've never been much of a sugar hound until about eight months ago. In the last month, I have been seeking sugar for boredom, stress release and because my taste buds just want sugar!! I have developed a "pooch" (as my mom calls it) in my stomach area that I've never had and I know it is sugar related. I have been eating too much ice cream (I'm lactose intolerant, so I shouldn't eat it anyway) and I've been polishing off half of a box of Girl Scout Cookies in no time at all (a day - HA - try 10 minutes)! While I am a Beachbody coach, I am not going to sugar coat this because I need to believe in it to talk honestly to people who are interested in buying it. The one thing I like about the 3 Day Refresh is that you eat small amounts - this isn't a juice cleanse or a fast where you don't eat - you eat and drink protein shakes. On the Refresh, there is no dairy, wheat, meat, caffeine, etc. You have three shakes per day (Shakeology for breakfast and Vanilla Fresh at lunch and dinner) and a fiber sweep mid-morning, along with a lot of water, veggies and a little bit of fruit each day. I am used to blending fruit into my Shakeology, so I'm continuing that with Shakeology and Vanilla Fresh during the Refresh. My three concerns going into the 3 Day Refresh: 1. Hunger, BUT hunger isn't always a bad thing; there is no need to eat every time you feel hungry. 2. Snacking - I work from home and I know all the food in my kitchen (20 steps away) that I can snack on without having to leave my home to buy it! We generally don't have much sugar in our house, but with two girls selling Girl Scout cookies under our roof, there are cookies! 3. Sunday, March 12: Dinner Date Night out
Monday, March 13: I am doing Beachbody's 3 Day Refresh, so I will be eating salads and having shakes for three nights. Stay tuned to a future post for my experience! I'm looking forward to resetting my eating habits...which are mostly a sugar issue! :) Tuesday, March 14: Salad Wednesday, March 15: Salad Thursday, March 16: Samantha requested cheese tortellini. Will pair with salad and broccoli Friday, March 17: If I am on my own for dinner, I'll have leftovers or a TJ's Veggie Burger and salad. If the kids will be home, pork roast in the crock pot. I am still determining a recipe, but this looks good Saturday, March 18: Salmon, sweet potato fries, veggie and salad. I have a great recipe that bakes it in the oven with butter, chicken broth and lemon pepper. I will share the recipe soon! The kids LOVE this recipe and the salmon! Ingredients:
